Celebrate the longest day of the year and the magic of summer by spending the evening of the summer solstice surrounded by spring wildflowers, glorious mountain views, and fresh air. Join a couple dozen other super cool guys and gals on a hike up “The Ridge” to a quiet, less frequented summit, for an unforgettable experience of this year’s solstice. Dawn Geula will help guide us with drumming into a mindfulness-based yoga practice, led by Laurie Lind of Yoga Lolo. You’ll tune in to what you’re body wants to tell you with Bodytalk led by Robin Mayberry. Interwoven into your yoga and Bodytalk, you’ll experience a taste of Thai massage, provided by Dawn, a licensed massage therapist. There will be time for quiet contemplation, lying in the grass, appreciating the natural beauty surrounding us and chatting with friends new and old, as you choose. Healthy, yummy snacks and herbal tea will be provided and we’ll toast to the season of warmth and bounty. There may be singing and dancing and you’re free to participate as you feel moved to or not. Your yoga mat will be shuttled to the top, as will your blanket (recommended). Though we won’t leave much of a footprint, this is of course a pack it in pack it out event. We’ll have a collection bag for any garbage.
Space is limited to 30 participants so reserve your spot now. For more information and to register, please visit https://squareup.com/store/mairemassage or call Dawn Geula, LMP at 360-473-7516.
